I always look forward to the Virgo New Moon as an opportunity to find a new rhythm, pace, or structure. But this year, I don’t think it’s enough to simply reorganize our lives and pleasantly carry on. We are being asked to look beneath the beautiful, functional systems we’ve created and acknowledge the labor, waste, wounds, and uncomfortable realities that keep them running. This may lead to a painful resolution: some systems are no longer sustainable.

This Pisces New Moon does not feel loud, but it does feel meaningful. It feels like standing at the very edge of something, where one cycle is ending, but the next has not fully declared itself yet.

The Solar Eclipse at 28° Aquarius is a collective initiation. The ego, the identity, and the leadership we may have trusted all feel stripped back. Whether it’s a figure of state, a beloved guide, or even an old self-image, something is being taken away, quieted, or dimmed.

This Virgo New Moon invites us to embrace an intentional rhythm. We are asked to remember that devotion doesn’t need grandeur. It can live in routines, in quiet acts of care, and in the little tasks we often rush through. Especially for those of us holding many roles, parent, priestess, creator, this lunation is a chance to weave the divine into our daily lives, one offering at a time.
